Deviled Eggs

INGREDIENTS:

12 hard cooked eggs

1 tsp. salt

1/8 ground pepper

1/4 cup sour cream or yogurt

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. cayenne pepper

6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped

1 tsp. chopped green onions

1 tbsp. prepared mustard

1/4 tsp. paprika

DIRECTION:

  1. Shell eggs, and carefully cut them in halves lengthwise.
  2. Remove yolks while keeping white shell intact. Mash and combine yolks with the rest of the ingredients. Refill egg whites with yolk mixture, slightly rounded on top.
  3. top each with half an olive or a strip of red pimiento for food color, if available.
  4. Arrange the eggs on a nest of alfalfa sprouts in a bowl.
