INGREDIENTS:
12 hard cooked eggs 1 tsp. salt 1/8 ground pepper 1/4 cup sour cream or yogurt 1/4 cup mayonnaise | 1 tsp. cayenne pepper 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped 1 tsp. chopped green onions 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/4 tsp. paprika |
DIRECTION:
- Shell eggs, and carefully cut them in halves lengthwise.
- Remove yolks while keeping white shell intact. Mash and combine yolks with the rest of the ingredients. Refill egg whites with yolk mixture, slightly rounded on top.
- top each with half an olive or a strip of red pimiento for food color, if available.
- Arrange the eggs on a nest of alfalfa sprouts in a bowl.
