Avocado Salsa

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups diced ripe avocado

Juice of 1 lime

2 tomatoes, diced, drained

1 garlic clove, mashed

1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup minced green onions

1/2 cup minced red bell pepper

1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

1tsp. salt

DIRECTION:

  1. Combine avocado with lime juice. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, season to taste, cover, and refrigerate. Serve within 3 hours with toasted pita bread or tortilla chips.

Note: This dip will not keep long; avocado turns brown.
